Each year, OSHA publishes its list of the violations most cited in the work environment.
While the rankings for OSHA’s Top 10 most cited violations vary little from year to year, violation No. 10 on this year’s list, “Eye and Face Protection” (1926.102), was not on the 2017 list.
The number of violations has increased overall.
Fall protection (29 CFR 1926.501) remains the number 1 violation, an increase of 1,198 cases over 2017, while the percentage of Machine Guarding cases has increased the most.
