Multiple Injuries in Austin, TX as Two Cranes Collide

First Responders are on the scene of a two-crane collision at a building site on Robert Browning Street, Austin, Texas, which has injured at least 22 people.

16 victims were transported to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.

Two cranes appeared to have collided and remain tangled several stories above a parking structure under construction a few miles north of downtown in a neighborhood that includes residential, retail, and office space. 

According to reports, one of the crane operators was still inside the crane cabin more than an hour after the incident, though it did not appear to be damaged. Authorities said the operator was safe and that they were working to get him down.
